The Group manager of Information Technology leads the planning, acquisition, implementation and operation of information technology to enable the achievement of the organization business objectives. The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the effective design, development, implementation and operation of information technology products, services and support. 

Managing the divisions resources, including drafting and executing its budget, developing its organizational structure;

Research and make recommendations on hardware and software purchases and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions;

Provides vision, planning and coordination of all software development and/or implementation activities.  Establishes standards in software development and integration;

Manage Software Quality Assurance striving to achieve a high level of quality and independent verification of software reliability;

Promote the use of innovative technologies that will provide benefits to the organization.  Lead the introduction of new technologies in mobile devices, web 2.0 and social media;

Leads the design, specification, configuration, installation, and maintenance of local  area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services and Internet service   providers;

Implement an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s data and servers;

Establish and maintain a disaster recovery plan ;

Monitor system health/availability;

Managing a customer service help-desk.

Managing the IT infrastructure resources, including drafting and executing its budget, developing its organizational structure;

Optimize costs of organization-wide infrastructure and application services through an appropriate mix of internal and external resources;

Leads the design, specification, configuration, installation, and maintenance of local  area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services and Internet service providers;

Facilitate communication between management, staff and customers to ensure an effective approach to implementation of IT solutions;

Research and make recommendations on hardware and software purchases and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions;

Implement an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s data and servers;

Implement processes to identify and mitigate information risks within the organization;

Monitor system health/availability;

Managing a customer service help-desk.

Ensure technology platform availability compliance to Service Level Agreements

Develop, implement and direct the organization’s information technology security program, consistent with policies that support business objectives and requirements;

Effectively communicate IT vision and plans in understandable terms throughout the organization;

Ensure and monitor security compliance as it relates to any changes in legislation;

Establish, maintain and regularly test a disaster recovery plan ;

Promote the use of innovative technologies that will provide benefits to the organization.  Lead the introduction of new technologies in mobile devices, web 2.0 and social media.

A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent;

Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;

Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions;

Ability to monitor or assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organization to make improvements or take corrective action.

Must be dedicated as the Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and must fulfilling obligations.

Must being honest, ethical and diligent, along with being open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace must be able to work and understand different cultures.

Reporting to the Chairman of the group you will require a high level of attention to Detail.

Traveling to the following countries may be required:

USA/Canada/Mexico/Seychelles/Maldives/United Kingdom/United Arab Emirates/Hong Kong/Switzerland/Germany/Jakarta/Korea

So the ideal candidate must be able and willing to travel.

The Group IT Manager will be responsible to create a team of IT related staff ensure the smooth running of the Groups IT Department.
